| Dear Subscriber ,
I'm a grandmother of a baby girl born February 10 at 11:00 a.m. She was 8.25 lbs and 21 inches long. It's a whole new passage for me.
My son Cory didn't go into the Marines after all. There was a mistake with the urine sample he gave back in October. They could have had him come back in and give another sample, but his paper work somehow got put under some other paper work and wasn't found until they were getting ready to swear him in. Right before he left on the bus to go to the Marine base hotel, we found out his job title was changed from "military police" to "transportation driver." This would have meant driving trucks in Iraq. Yeah! They blow up trucks there. The misplaced paperwork was a weird fluke, it never happens. We all, including my son, saw it as a sign. He is now going back to school and possible joining the Air Force.
A girlfriend sent me a "YouTube" web link of this woman singing a song about being a Mom and all the things you end up saying to your kids in a day. I just cried with laughter and with the union I felt with other Moms and just being one myself. Click Here to Hear the "Mom Song" | |

Do You Want to be Healthy,
But Don't Know What to Do? by Jill deLeuze
Nutritionist & Weight Loss Expert
'Health' is one of those words that is thrown around a lot, but never really defined. People who strictly abide by specific diets like the Atkins Diet or the South Beach Diet often claim to be healthy. People who go to the gym twice a week or swear off coffee also employ the coveted claim. But if Webster himself is right in defining health as "the condition of being sound in body, mind, or spirit; especially freedom from physical disease or pain," there must be more to it than just a fad diet or a gym membership. Right?
Indeed. That is precisely what Dr. Dana King and his team at the Medical University of South Carolina have concluded. In his study, middle aged participants were asked to abide by four basic rules: 1) Eat five or more servings of fruits or vegetables every day; 2) Exercise for two and a half hours a week;3) No smoking; and 4) Maintain a healthy body weight. And poof! After four years of adhering to Dr. King's rules the participants had decreased their risk of heart disease by 35 percent and risk of death by 40 percent. And that was not the only exciting news. Those who participated in the study caught up to people who had been abiding by these rules their entire lives when it came to heart attack and mortality rates. Yeah, you read that right!
So let's do it! It's never too late to make your health a priority and there's no better time than right now. Let us help you take control and give you the confidence and power to make meaningful changes that will literally change the course of your life. Remember, you are your most important investment. |

From Eve:
Is Everyone Ready for SPRING? It is so beautiful outside. I've been spring cleaning everything I can get my hands on. I am an Aries and they represent "spring" -- being born, new, fresh, alive, creative force (like the bulbs of spring). This is most likely why I feel all stirred up and ready to burst forth. So forgive me if I seem a little rambunctious!
We have been drinking filtered water from the Co-op for at least 2 years, lugging the 5 gallon jugs to and from. Before that it was home delivery from Sierra Springs. I just figured it was a burden I would have to bear, since I really like fantastic tasting water and there is no way in Heck I am going to pollute my body or my families bodies with city water. I have tried virtually every water filter on the market looking for a way to avoid lugging the water to and fro. But, as you may have already guessed, not one has passed muster. Until now!
I was feeling the need to clean, and Tamara said "I could help her unclutter a little." There sitting next to her sink was a "Wellness Filter." I skeptically asked, "so how do you like your water filter?" She said, "I love it!" On and on she went about this filter. I'm thinking yeah, yeah, yeah. I've tried them all. She said "Why don't you try it." So I took the proffered glass and smelled deeply, hmmm, then I drank, hmmm. My taste buds were trying to detect any off notes -- nothing. This couldn't be. I did the whole thing again. The filtered water was not only good, in my opinion it was actually great. "Where did you get this?" I asked. To my shame she said "We represent these filters at the Fountain of Health." "Get OUT!" I must have missed that meeting. I looked into the Wellness Filter and was very pleasantly surprised. These people have done a ton of research. What sold me was the water tastes alive. I bought an above the sink model and next month I am going to get the shower filter. I encourage you to try this water filter system; they have a 30 day money back guarantee, so if you don't like it, no harm, no foul. Go to their website and check it out. Wellness Filter Website Be sure and reference The Fountain of Health ID# 17938 and you will get a discount. The bottom line is, I'm tickled with my water filter and can't believe I am actually talking about one. Happy Spring! |

We Are What We Eat, So Eat Well by Tamara Hanscom, Colon Therapist
A stupendous insight of civilizations past has now been confirmed by today's investigative, nutritional sciences. They have shown that what was once called "The Doctrine of Whole Food Signatures" was astoundingly correct. It now contends that every whole food has a pattern that resembles a body organ or physiological function and that this pattern acts as a signal or sign as to the benefit that the food provides the eater.
